Did you know there are two types of weeds? Annuals and Perennials.
Annuals – Annuals spread throughout the yard by seed, they can also be brought into the yard by typed of animals, especially birds. Examples of annuals include nettle, chickweed and crabgrass.
Perennials – Perennials are the most difficult weed to get rid of. When removing a perennial the entire root must be taken out, otherwise the plant can reproduce from and small root particle left. Examples of perennials include dandelion, plantain, and poison ivy.
